It is my love of story that propels my work in photography and film. As a visual storyteller I am drawn to capturing and creating authentic moments that then draw the viewer in. When I first entered into the world of photography my focus was fine-art black-and-white photography. I have since broadened my interests to include color and black- and - white photo-illustration, portraiture, and film stills. In the past few years, I have expanded on my experience and interest to include film production and historical research.
My photos have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the East coast, including Susan Maasch Fine Art, the Smithsonian National Postal Museum and Fuller Craft Museum. They have appeared on book covers, cards and in a variety of publications. My movie stills, used to promote Lone Wolf Media's documentaries, have appeared both in print and online in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, and the Portland Press Herald. I live in Portland, Maine, with my four amazing sons, and Rose the wonder pup.
